We often take our resources and blessings for granted, constantly seeking instant gratification that never truly fulfills our deeper motives.

What should one's true motive be? I’ve pondered this question many times and always circle back to the same answer: 'Giving.'

Giving brings pure joy, a sense of responsibility, and a feeling of contentment and fulfillment that nothing else can match.

Recently, I joined Neha and Aditi at 'Lagori' for a donation drive at Aarna Foundation, a school for underprivileged children to provide them with stationery and bags they need for their upcoming academic year.

They diligently planned the entire drive, going above and beyond. From carefully procuring the required stationery to hand-packing each bag with so much love and care, to engaging in genuine, heartfelt interaction with the kids, asking the children about their dreams and plans, and promising that 'Lagori' would support them in any way possible.

The experience was nothing short of enlightening. Watching the children's faces light up as they opened their new school bags was a moment of pure joy. Their excitement was infectious as they eagerly planned their school days, planning a brighter future with the tools we had provided. The innocence and hope in their eyes were a powerful reminder of why these efforts are so crucial.

Neha and Aditi's dedication to making every child feel special and worthy of their dreams was truly inspiring. It became abundantly clear where 'Lagori' gets its strength from: it's all about building relationships, one child at a time. Their approach goes beyond mere charity; it's about instilling a sense of self-worth and possibility in each child.

The event was a sincere reminder of the power of giving. The donation of material goods serves as fuel to investing in the future of these children, showing them that they matter, and that their dreams are achievable. The fulfillment and joy that come from such acts of kindness are unmatched.

Since the start, it was easy to observe the personal touch and effort Aditi and Neha put in bringing together the whole thing. The discussions at the backend involved of what more can be done to make the kids happier, like colour coordinating every set of bags to the children’s liking, including a sweet treat for them and so much more. Every effort reflects their commitment to the bigger picture and assuring the children that ‘Lagori’ stands by them.

The entire experience reinforced my belief that giving is the most fulfilling endeavour one can undertake. The smiles, the conversations, and the connections made that day will stay with me forever, a testament to the incredible impact that a little kindness and care can have on the lives of those in need.

lots of love,
